Key things to do for travel within New Zealand

  • Before you book and before you fly, check the New Zealand Government website for current travel advice.
  • For passengers travelling to, from, or through ports with differing COVID-19 restrictions, the higher restrictions will apply for your journey. Please check the travel requirements for each destination.

  • If you no longer wish to travel, you can choose to cancel or change your flight depending on the fare type you purchased.

Keeping you safe while travelling

The wellbeing of our customers and our people is important to us, and we're doing what we can to ensure every journey together is a safe and enjoyable one.

To reduce physical contact, we recommend checking-in online or via the Air NZ mobile app. Online check-in is available 24 hours before the departure of your flight. You can download the Air NZ mobile app here.
